Sharp Reader is a simple RSS reader for the Windows platform.

Windows More Advanced : Feed Demon
Amongst other things, Feed Demon lets you download podcasts directly to your iPod.

Linux : Straw
Straw is an RSS reader for GNOME desktops.

Firefox : Sage
There are many RSS Feed Reader extensions for various browsers. This one is simple and aesthetically pleasing. Free.
